More Heat, More Storms . . . .

Although we had a brief shower yesterday, early in the day, other storms managed to miss us.  We did hear thunder as they passed us by, but no rain.  It could be the same today, as there is a lot of rain showing on the radar north of us.  We are promised a reprieve from this heat next week although it will still be in the  80s, just not as humid.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 85°F, the humidity is 61%, and skies are partly cloudy.  Winds are from the SW at 3-13 mph, and the dew point is 67°F.  Visibility is 20 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 88°F, and the overnight low was 69°F.  Average temps for this date are 80°F/58°F.  The record high for June 21 is 98F set in 1988, and the record low is 40F set in 1992.  Sunrise was at 5:59 AM, and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
