Cooler Temps After The Storms . . . .

Cooler Temps After The Storms . . . .

After a stormy Saturday, our Sunday is much cooler but windy.  We had no strong storms here, but the western and central portions of the lower peninsula had a few warnings.  I haven’t heard any damage reports yet, but I’m sure there are some.  We had a little thunder shower around 1 AM which left  0.34″ in my rain gauge.  Now our sky is mostly clear and there is no more rain in our forecast until Tuesday.

Our 10:30 AM temperature is 73°F (23°C), the humidity is 84%, and winds are from the west at 12-21 mph.  The pressure is 29.49 in (998.7 mb) and rising, and the dew point is 64°F (18°C).  Yesterday’s high was 88°F (31°C), and the overnight low was 68°F (20°C).  Average temps for this date are 80°F/58°F.  The record high for June 22 is 91°F (33°C) set in 2002, and the record low is 34°F (1°C) set in 1992.  Sunrise was at 5:59 AM, and sunset will be at 9:20 PM.
