A Perfect Summer Day . . . .
Today couldn’t be nicer. Temperatures are warm, but not too hot. There is a light breeze and it isn’t too humid. Unfortunately, we have hurricane Beryl to look forward to. Of course it won’t be as bad as what Texas is expecting, but we could see a very large rain event from it. Local meteorologists are predicting 2-3 inches in parts of the state. This is expected on Wednesday and into Thursday and it won’t be pleasant for anyone on vacation next week. But we have today, and we’ll enjoy what we now have. Reed Timmer, an “extreme” storm chaser, is also predicting major tornado outbreaks to go with the hurricane. Not good!
