Dreary And Dry . . . .
The weather today is nothing great but at least it isn’t raining or snowing. Even the wind isn’t too strong, so I guess we can’t really complain. We went out shopping and came back home with the plan to go later. I forgot that this is Christmas season and the stores are a madhouse. I don’t do well in crowds in my old age. That’s why I do most of my shopping on line anymore. The next two days won’t be as nice with more snow, strong winds and very cold temps expected. The high on Thursday will be doing good to reach 20°F (-7°C). This is too early for this type of weather.
Our 2:30 PM temperature is 43°F (6°C), the humidity is 73%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the SW at 5-8 mph, and the pressure is 29.97 in (1014.9 mb) and falling. The dew point is 37°F (3°C) and the wind chill is 39°F (4°C). Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 51°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 37°F (3°C). Average temps for this date are 36°F/24°F. Record temps for Dec. 9 are 63°F (2023) and -5°F (1964). Sunrise was at 7:48 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
