A Little Warmer With A Little Sun . . . . .
Our weather has improved from what has been, and temperatures will continue to rise over the next week. I’m not sure how soon we’ll see any thawing, but at least I think we’re done with the single digit highs for a while. We started the day with cloudy skies and snow flurries. Now there is quite a bit of blue sky and sun. That will raise our spirits is nothing else.
Our 1:30 PM temperature is 20°F, the humidity is 64%, and winds are from the SW at 4-10 mph. Skies are partly to mostly cloudy, and the pressure is 30.05 in and steady. The dew point is 8°F, the wind chill is 9°F, and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 14°F and the overnight low was 15°F. Record temps for Jan. 23 are 57°F (1967) and -13°F (1963). Sunrise was at 8:00 AM and sunset will be at 5:39 PM.
