Back To Below-Average Temperatures . . . .

Once again we have freezing temps and wind chills.  So far this year, we are way below in our normal snow amounts.  It’s bad when Florida has gotten more snow than we have.  I’m still waiting for the big one and it is not unusual to get a major snow event in February.  An ice storm is in the forecast for tomorrow night but it seems that most of it will remain to our south.  We’ll have to keep an eye on it.

Our 2 PM temperature is 25°F, the humidity is 70%, and skies are overcast with a few snow flurries.  Winds are from the north at 5-9 mph, and the wind chill is 13°F.  The pressure is 30.29 in and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 37°F and the overnight low was 21°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F/15°F.  Record temps for Feb 3 are 55°F (2016) and -14°F (1996).  Sunrise was at 7:49 AM and sunset will be at 5:54 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

Today:  Mostly cloudy.  High near 25°F.  Winds NW at 5-10 mph.

Tonight:  Cloudy with the low around 15°F.  Winds light and variable.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy.  High near 30°F.  Winds E at 1-5 mph.
