A Little Snow On The Way . . . .
We could see a little snow this afternoon, but nothing close to what was predicted. This was supposed to be a major snow event, but now diminished to maybe an inch. Northern Michigan is getting the brunt of it. At lease it has been cold enough for the ski lodges to make snow, so all is good for the skiers. My YouTube go-to weather guru, Ryan Hall, is predicting a very active February snow season for us, with one storm after the other. I hope it gets it out of it’s system so that we have a nice March.
Our 11 AM temperature is 26°F (-3°C), the humidity is 73% and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the E at 3-6 mph, giving us a wind chill of 19°F (-7°C). The pressure is 29.98 in (1015.2 mb) and falling, and the dew point is 17°F (-8°C). Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 29°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 16°F (-9°C). Average temps for this date are 31°F/15°F. Record temps for Feb.7 are 57°F (2019) and -13°F (1972). Sunrise was at 7:44 AM and sunset will be at 7:35 PM.
