A Return Of Winter . . .

A Return Of Winter . . .

After some rain showers dropped a little over half an inch of rain yesterday, it turned into snow after dark, and dropped half an inch of snow.  A little has melted  but some still remains on my deck  Temperatures are cold enough that it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.  The wind has decreased somewhat, but still too strong for my liking.  There are a few breaks in the clouds and a little sun would be nice.

Our 2;45 PM temperature is 32°F, the humidity is 70%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 20-30 mph, and the wind chill is 20°F.  The pressure is 30.35 in and steady, and the dew point is 22°F.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 56°F and the overnight low was 26°F.  Average temps for this date are 40°F/22°F.  Record temps for March 5 are 67°F (2014) and -7°F ( 1948).  Sunrise was at 7:05 AM and sunset will be at 6:33 PM.
