Rain On The Way . . . .

Rain On The Way . . . .

We have rain approaching us this afternoon, and a very slight chance that some could be severe.  We had a little sun this morning, but that is now gone.  Unbelievably, it is quite dry and I’m noticing that the farmers are kicking up a lot of dust while they are fitting their fields.  I’m sure that those who have already planted would be happy with some rain.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 54°F, the humidity is 52%, and winds are from the south at 0-9 mph.  The pressure is 30.07 in and rising, and the dew point is 32°F.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 58°F and the overnight low was 34°F.  Average temps for this date are 68°F/45°F.  Record temps for May 11 are 83F (2005) and 30F (2020).  Sunrise was at 6:17 AM and sunset will be at 8:49 PM.
