Finally A Welcome Warm-up For Michigan
Talk about going from one extreme to the other. That’s what will be happening this week. Today is the beginning of a significant warm-up with highs reaching into the teens. That may not seem warm, but compared to what we have had, it’s balmy. This morning is starting out with a little sun but early temperatures are still below zero. This should be the final day and we could see highs near 50°F by Monday and Tuesday,. That will certainly make the doggies happy.
Our 9:30 AM temp is -3°F (-19°F), the humidity is 63% and skies are partly to mostly cloudy. Winds are calm and the pressure is 30.36 in (1028.1 mb) and rising. The dew point is -10°F (-23°C) and visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 6°F (-14°C) which was the record lowest high temp for that date. The overnight low was -11°F (-24°C). Sunrise was at 7:51 AM and sunset will be at 5:49 PM.
