Much Too Cold For This Time Of Year – Mid Michigan
One would think that it is January as cold as it is. I keep waiting for Indian Summer but I don’t think that it will happen anytime soon. What’s worse is that it’s supposed to be even colder next week, with highs only in the 20s. On the positive side, we have bright sunshine today which makes it more bearable. We are finishing cleaning up the yard and putting the rest of the lawn furniture away. The middle portions of the lower peninsula have about 5 inches of snow on the ground. We lucked out and just got a trace. My husband wants to mow the lawn one last time and mulch the remaining leaves We don’t rake, we mulch.
