Rain And Snow For Our Friday – Mid Michigan
We woke to half an inch of snow this morning. It began as rain and there was a total of 0.15″ in my gauge at 8:30 AM. Much of it has already melted and temperatures will remain in the mid 30s today. This is just a one day event because it is expected to be significantly warmer the next two days. In fact, we could see 60° on Sunday. This is typical for March in Michigan. We can have winter one day and spring the next. At least we know that any snow that falls won’t last long. We will switch to Daylight Savings Time this weekend which I’m not happy about.
Ou 2 PM temperature is 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 78%, and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the ESE at 6 to 15 mph. The pressure is 30.31 in (1026.4 mb) and rising. Visibility is 10 miles. The wind chill is 26°F (-3°C). Yesterday’s high was 50°F (10°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C). Averages for this date are 37°F / 22°F. Sunrise was at 7:02 AM and sunset will be at 6:32 PM.
