Cristobol Left It’s Mark On Michigan
Although we didn’t get any severe weather here where I live, others in the state were not as lucky. There was a tremendous amount of damage done around Bay City and Saginaw, and also on the western side of the state. Large trees were snapped in half with many falling on homes and autos. The storm ravaged on for about 6 hours moving from south to north. When it arrived here, we got very hard rain but almost no wind. My weather station recorded a rainfall rate of 3.41″/hr for about 15 minutes, giving us a total of 0.94″ of rain. At least it put an end to the hot, oppressive weather that we had. Today is breezy with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 64F (18C), the humidity is 60% and winds are from the WNW at 6-15 mph. The dew point is 53F (12C) and the pressure is 29.90 in (1012.5 mb) and rising. Skies are partly cloudy and visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 90F (32C) and the overnight low was 57F (14C). Sunrise was at 5:57 AM and sunset will be at 9:15 PM.
