Another Stretch Of Hot Weather – Mid Michigan
Our heat wave continues but there is some relief in sight by this weekend. Usually we don’t like cold fronts, but they are very welcome this time of year. As two hurricanes threaten the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana, it appears right now that Michigan won’t feel the effects of either. Some areas of the state could certainly use the rain but we have that possibility tomorrow. It’s been over a week since our last rainfall, and with this heat, the ground dries up very fast.
Our 12:45 PM temperature is 80°F (27°C), the humidity is 55%, and winds are from the north at 3-6 mph. The pressure is 29.98 in (1015.2 mb) and steady. The dew point is 61°F (16°C). Visibility is 13 miles. Yesterday’s high was 92°F (33°C) and the overnight low was 70°F (21°C).
