A Very Nice Day In The Works For Mid Michigan
Not only should we see the sun today, but temperatures should rise to near 50F. Winds will be light so it will be a very nice day to be out and about. We haven’t had any precipitation for almost a week but that will change this weekend. Originally they told us that we could get snow accumulations, but now NOAA is saying mostly rain. It has been unusually dry for this time of year and forecasters are saying that we probably won’t see much winter until January. Although I would like a white Christmas, I can live without it. We were told that there was a good chance of seeing northern lights last night, but I watched until 1 AM and didn’t see any.
Our 11 AM temperature is 40F (4C), the humidity is 90%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the south at 3-6 mph. The pressure is 29.97 in (1014.9 mb) and steady.
