A Little Sun, Some Clouds, and A Lot Of Wind – Mid Michigan
Our issue today is the cold temperatures. Most of the snow showers seem to be done with although I’m still seeing a few flurries from time to time. We have about 5 inches of snow cover. Strong winds are creating drifts making some roads quite slick. The sun even peeks out every so often. It’s a good day to just stay home if one doesn’t have to go anywhere.
Our 12:45 PM temp is 19F (-7C), the humidity is 67%, and winds are from the west at 6-19 mph, gusting to 28 mph. Skies are overcast. The wind chill is 4F (-16C) and the dew point is 9F (-13C). The pressure is 29.85 in (1010.8 mb) and rising. Visibility is 3 miles. Yesterday’s high was 34F (1C) and the overnight low was 13F (-11C). Average temps for this date are 28F / 15F. Sunrise was at 7:46 AM and sunset will be at 5:55 PM.

I’ve moved to Gab as my primary social media site after leaving Facebook and Twitter (and especially since Parler is down). I’m @theparkernathan on there if you want to follow. It’s where I’ll post “real time” weather updates in between blog posts here.
I’m probably going to do that soon myself. Thanks for the notice, Nathan.
