Another Hot Day In Mid Michigan

Today is another scorcher with my weather station reading over 90F.  I’m not sure how accurate it is because it is in the sun and that usually causes it to read about 3-4 degrees higher that what it really is.  Regardless, it is very hot.  Our forecast is calling for some popup storms tomorrow and I hope that we get some of them.  Usually they miss us.  A few of my perennial flowers didn’t come back so I have to go our and replace them.  My columbines are doing great however.  That will have to wait until Tuesday as we have to go to Detroit tomorrow.

Our 5 PM official temperature is 88°F (31°C) with the heat index at 90°F (32°C).  Winds are from the south at 3-11 mph.  The humidity is 37%.  Skies are partly cloudy.  The dew point is 52°F (11°C) and visibility is 18 miles.  The pressure is 29.78 mb (1008.5 mb) and falling.  The UV index is 3 (moderate).  Yesterday’s high was 88°F (31°C) and the overnight low was 70°F (21°C).
