Flood Watch In Effect For Southern Michigan
We are expecting very heavy rain over the next three days and a flood watch has been issued for most of southern lower Michigan. We received a little rain so far but not enough to affect us. Radar isn’t showing much as yet but my area is expecting up to three inches by Thursday. The Detroit area is expecting up to six inches. I wish this heavy rain would go west where the wildfires are. They need it much more than we do.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 71°F (22°C), the humidity is 88% and skies are overcast. Winds are from the south at 4-9 mph and visibility is 10 miles. We have only received 0.04″ of rain so far. The dew point is 67°F (19°C). The pressure is 29.77 in (1008.1 mb) and steady. Yesterday’s high was 79°F (26°C) and the overnight low was 69°F (21°C). Average temps for this date are 71°F / 49°F. Sunrise was at 7:22 AM and sunset will be at 7:35 PM.
