Yesterday was a rather strange day with popup showers and thunderstorms. Through the day, we heard plenty of distant thunder but we only had one shower which dropped 0.06″ of rain in the afternoon. Then during the overnight, we received the rest, giving us a total of 0.24″ in all. There is rain in our forecast today but the radar isn’t showing any heading in our direction. We have had great weather all this week and today will be no exception. This weekend, however, will be wet if the local weather gurus have it right. There were numerous thunderstorms which popped up yesterday afternoon, and just like Tuesday, they were moving from the NE to the SW, and remained to the East of us. Most places received very little rain, but others got hail with heavy, brief showers. We only got a few sprinkles of rain here.
