Mid Michigan Weather

Today is nice and bright, but temperatures are still below average.  Tomorrow will be just the opposite with highs expected to reach near 60°F.  But before that happens, we are under a winter weather advisory tonight which includes freezing rain.  At least we have light winds today, and with the sun, it feels a bit warmer than what it really is.  Tomorrow sounds like it could be a bit nasty, so the warm temps won’t matter much. It’s amazing that as cold as it was yesterday, all the snow is gone.  Highs only reached the 20s and the wind was brutal.  Today is a little warmer but still way below average.  We have another warmup coming for Wednesday with highs expected to be near 60F.  I’m afraid that means more stormy weather for the southern states.  Our area has been spared so far, but I’m certain that we’ll get our share soon. We drove by the river today on our way to town and it is well over it’s banks in Corunna.  We received over an inch of rain in the thunderstorms and showers that we had the past 2 days.  I think we have enough rain for a while.  The lawn is saturated and some areas feel like a sponge when walked on.  Temperatures will continue to fall over the next few days, and Saturday will feel like winter, with highs…

After a gloomy, wet, foggy Saturday, today is sunny and temperatures should be very mild.  Total rain amount from yesterday was 0.17″.  The fog finally lifted around sunset and most of the rain was sprinkles to mist and drizzle.  Not a nice day at all.  This upcoming week isn’t looking too bad with highs reaching the upper 40s to low 50s all week.  Any precipitation should come as rain.  My weather guy, Ryan Hall, is predicting this week to be…
