We had a lot of thawing yesterday and highs got near 50 degrees. We should see highs in the 50s once again today and that should take care of at least half of what snow we have left. Yesterday was absolutely wonderful. We had clear skies all day and very warm temperatures. Our high made it up to 46 degrees and we lost about 2 in of snow pack. It is now at about 9.5 inches. Our snow pack is now down to about 11 inches and we are losing a little more each day. Our forecast for the next few days is calling for warmer temps than originally given. That’s fine with me. Our morning began with about an inch of new snow on the deck, but it was already melting so no shoveling was necessary. It is now almost gone. Our skies have cleared somewhat and we have a mix of sun and clouds right now.
