After multiple cloudy days, we finally have some sun this morning. Unfortunately, there are very cold temperatures with it. It began as rain in the afternoon, then changed to snow by early evening. Just when we thought that we were spared from the freezing rain, it changed to freezing rain. By nightfall, it was heavy to moderate snow again. It was wet and heavy, and made for a beautiful snow-covered night with it clinging to everything. Today began very cold with temps in the teens and we’ll be lucky to see the freezing mark today. At least we don’t have strong winds to contend with. Yesterday was a sad day for us. This, being our last week of December, is quite uneventful. There are no major storms or any significant weather in the forecast.
