Yesterday was everything that they promised us it would be. Heavy storms moved across the state dropping up to 3 inches of rain n some places and severe wind damage in others. Although my area was spared from any severe weather yesterday, the Bay City, Midland, and thumb areas weren’t so lucky. There were various funnel clouds spotted resulting in tornado warnings but I haven’t heard of any actual touch-downs. Wind damage was wide spread and many went through the night without power.
