Sunday was a miserable day weather-wise. That seemed to be the case for the entire eastern United States. We had a mixed bag of winter precipitation, switching from snow to sleet to rain all day long. Finally it turned to all snow overnight. Yesterday was beautiful except for a very brisk wind. At least we had normal temperatures and plenty of sun. Today will be a different story. It just started snowing when I got up at 8 AM, then it changed to rain. Now it keeps changing between rain and sleet. We had rain into yesterday morning, then it cleared by afternoon and there was plenty of sun. Unfortunately, I can’t say that it was a nice day because the winds made it very unpleasant to be outdoors. Yup, we woke up to a white world once again. Most of it was supposed to be rain but that didn’t happen. We have to let go of the fine, spring weather that we have had over the past several days, and get ready for some rain / snow/ sleet / freezing rain which will begin tonight. We had a cold east wind blowing all day Thursday and a mix of rain and sleet fell late Thursday night. Some reported freezing rain but I didn’t see any evidence of that here.
