Yesterday was my birthday, and I spent most of it in the hospital , and I wasn’t even working. I went in early yesterday morning with chest pain, and my husband went in later with severe vertigo (dizziness). But no serious issues were found so all is well. This past October has been one of the wettest that I can remember. There were very few days that we didn’t get some rain and even fewer where we saw the sun. The kids lucked out last night with a very nice Halloween night. What began as a rainy, dark day turned into a very nice evening. Most of my flowers are dead but the mums and snapdragons are still hanging on. It’s time to start cleaning out the gardens and get ready for winter.
