We woke to a white world this morning with about an inch of snow on the ground. Liquid measure was about 0.13″. It’s a wet snow so it is sticking to all the tree branches. Highs today will probably not make it out of the mid 30s, but there isn’t much wind so it’s actually quite pleasant outdoors. We were surprised this morning by a sudden snow squall. It left about half an inch on the ground and was wet enough to stick to the trees. It has stopped for now but I think that there is more on the way looking at the radar. It snowed hard enough that visibility was reduced to less than a mile. Local forecasts are saying that we could get 3 inches by late tomorrow. I really don’t dislike snow this time…
Today really looks and feels like November. It is cold and temperatures are remaining in the upper 30s. The high was supposed to reach 40°F today but I don’t think it’s going to make it. Yesterday was another beautiful day here in mid Michigan. Temps rose into the mid to upper 70s which broke many records. Although it’s a bit breezy, it is absolutely gorgeous outdoors. This is amazing for November 10, and it will probably be the last where we would want to sit outdoors. Temperatures are a little cooler today but it is otherwise very nice. Skies are mostly clear with a few clouds passing over, and winds are light to moderate.
