We had heavy fog most of our Wednesday, and it remains this morning. The dense fog advisory expires at 11 AM. I haven’t seen fog like this in a long time and visibility was less than a mile much of yesterday. I hope it is gone this afternoon. We were lucky yesterday and didn’t get any freezing rain. All the snow and ice on my deck has turned to slush and it shovels easily. Yesterday was quite nice for a day in January. Temperatures were warmer than what they had been, and winds were quite light. Today is a different story.
