More Rain . . . . .

More Rain . . . . .

The past several days have been a nightmare for those who live in many states in the central areas of the country.  Looking at the NOAA forecast map, it doesn’t appear to be over just yet.  Tornadoes have been unrelenting but we have been very lucky.  I’ve been doing a virtual ride-along with many of the storm chasers via YouTube, and it’s really sad what those folks are going through.  So many have lost everything.  Here in Michigan, we’ve had plenty of sun but a lot of wind.  We had the possibility of thunderstorms, but nothing severe was expected.  Currently, it is raining but radar is showing  it almost past us, at least for now.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 64°F, the humidity is 95%, and winds are from the south at 0-4 mph.  The pressure is 29.92 in and rising, and the dew point is 61°F.  Yesterday’s high was 82°F and the overnight low was 62°F.  Average temps for this date are 63°F/40°F.  The record high for April 29 is 84°F set in 1990, and the record low is 24°F set in 1867.   Sunrise was at 6:35 AM, and sunset will be at 8:35 PM.
