The weather system which brought destructive storms to Nebraska and Iowa yesterday, will be affecting our weather today.  Although the chance of tornadoes is slim, we could see some very strong storms, especially the northern half of the state.  We had rain overnight which left 0.24″ in my gauge.  Temperatures will be very warm over the next week and rain is in the forecast every day.  The mid section of the country could see a repeat of yesterday, and my prayers go out for those people.
