Clouds, Sprinkles, and Wind to Start Our Monday – Mid Michigan

Our mornings are so dark and dreary these days.  I can’t wait to get back on standard time again.  When it’s this dark, I don’t even feel like getting out of bed.  I know that it will be dark earlier in the evening, but I prefer to have the daylight in the morning myself.  That will happen this Sunday.  This morning is beginning with a few sprinkles, giving us a trace of rain so far.  We have an 80% chance of rain in the forecast so I’m expecting a wet day.  I have a few appointments today so I better take my umbrella.

Our 8:45 AM temp is 37.4°F (3°C), the humidity is 61%, and skies are overcast with sprinkles.  The dew point is 30°F (-1°C) and winds are from the SW at 8 mph, making it feel like 35°F (2°C).  The pressure is 29.56 in (1000.7 mb) and falling.  Sunrise was at 8:08 AM EDT, and sunset will be at 6:30 PM EDT.  Yesterday’s high was 47°F (8°C), and the overnight low was 37°F (3°C).  Averages for this date are 56°F / 35°F.  The record high for Oct 29 is 77°F (25°C) set in 1901, and the record low is 18°F (-8°C) set in 1905.
