A Springlike Day in Mid Michigan

A Springlike Day in Mid Michigan

Today’s temperatures will continue much above normal and there is no snow to be found anywhere.  We were supposed to go on a sleigh ride today at the Nature Conservatory this afternoon, and I guess that will be a wagon ride instead.  At least we won’t be freezing.  Highs yesterday reached the low 50s and with plenty of sun, it felt even warmer.  Today won’t be quite as nice because of strong winds and the temperatures won’t get quite as high.  Skies are expected to clear this afternoon with highs in the upper 40s.

Currently (9 AM EST), our temp is 47°F (8°C), the humidity is 54%, and winds are from the SSW at 14 mph.  Skies are cloudy.  The wind chill is 43°F (6°C).  The pressure is 29.99 in (1015.3 mb) and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 54F (12°C) and the overnight low was 47°F (8°C).  Averages for this date are 26°F / 13°F.  The record high for Jan. 26 is 65°F (18°F) set in 1950, and the record low is -16°F (-27°C) set in 1959.  Sunrise was 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 5:43 PM.
