Independence Day Will Be Very Warm in Mid Michigan

Our morning is beginning with hot, humid conditions and it is promising to be uncomfortable for those planning outdoor activities.  As for me, I don’t plan to be outdoors much today.  We really don’t have any plans since the holiday is falling mid week, so my kids won’t be coming this year.  We could see a few pop up storms this afternoon, but the chance of that is minimal.  No cooler weather is expected until the weekend.

Our 10:15 AM temperature is 86°F (30°C), the humidity is 60%, and skies are clear.  The dew point is 71°F (22°C).  Winds are from the south at 3 mph and our heat index is 90°F (32°C).  The pressure is 30.26 in and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 91°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 71°F (21°C).  Averages for this date are 80°F / 58°F.
