Badly Needed Rain Keeps Missing Us – Mid Michigan

Although severe storms hit areas to our north, we didn’t get one drop of rain.  The Houghton Lake area received up to 3/4 inch of rain, but unfortunately, it also brought destructive winds.  We continue to have rain in the forecast for today and tomorrow and I hope that it all doesn’t miss us again.  We received a little, 0.08″, overnight yesterday but that was hardly enough to wet the ground.

Our 8:30 AM temp is 72°F (22°C), the humidity is 73% and winds are from the southwest at 5 mph.  Skies are cloudy and the dew point is 65°F  (18°C).  The pressure is 30.07 in and steady.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 91°F (32°C) and the overnight low was 69°F (21°C).  Average temps for this date are 82°F/59°F.
