It feels like spring this morning with our 8 AM temp at 40°F. We lost almost half of our snow cover and we didn’t get any freezing rain overnight that was predicted. I wish that it was clear and sunny but it never is when temps rise this time of year. This warm spell will only last a few days, then we’ll be back to normal weather once again. Although we don’t see much snow melting, at least the temperatures are tolerable. Even the doggies stayed out a little longer this morning and the snow on my deck has melted to where it is just wet where shoveled. That’s a major improvement over the past few days. Talk about going from one extreme to the other. That’s what will be happening this week. Today is the beginning of a significant warm-up with highs reaching into the teens. That may not seem warm, but compared to what we have had, it’s balmy. This morning is starting out with a little sun but early temperatures are still below zero.
