Rain And Snow for Our Final March Weekend – Mid Michigan

Rain And Snow for Our Final March Weekend – Mid Michigan

So far, our weather has been quite normal for this time of year.  Highs have been  a bit above normal and no one is complaining about that.  We are returning to winter this weekend however.  We aren’t expecting a lot of snow, maybe up to an inch, but it is not welcome this late in March.  Rain began overnight and there was 0.45″ in my gauge this morning.  Light rain has continued since then and this should be the order of the day.  The past two days were very mild with highs nearing 70°F on Thursday.  Yesterday wasn’t nearly as warm but still a very nice day.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 36.3°F (3°C), the humidity is 98% and skies are cloudy with light rain.  The dew point is 37°F (3°C) and winds are from the north at 8 mph.  The wind chill is 31°F (-1°C).  Visibility is 4 miles.  The pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 55°F (13°C) and the overnight low was 36°F (3°C).  Averages for this date are 48°F / 31°F.
