Severe Storms Across Michigan Left Many Without Power This Morning Including Us

We haven’t had power now since about 5:30 yesterday afternoon.  We thought that it might be a quick fix until we looked at the power outage map.  It is quite extensive.  The storm that we got was more wind than anything else and only left 0.08″ in my rain gauge.  Other areas of the state got much worse.  There is a lot of damage, especially on the west side of the state and some areas to our north.  Mother Nature, however, compensated us with an absolutely gorgeous sunset last night and the western sky was lit with color for almost half an hour.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 69°F (21°C), the humidity is 95%, and winds are from the north at 4 mph.  The dew point is 68°F (20°C).  Skies are overcast.  The pressure is 29.94 in (1013.9 mb) and rising.  Yesterday’s high was 92°F (33°C) and the overnight low was 70°F (21°C).   Sunrise was at 6:16 AM and sunset will be at 9:10 PM.
