Finally, A Sunny Day In Mid Michigan
My thermometer, which is in the sun, is showing 60°F. It really feels balmy out there and I think I’ll take the dog out for a walk around the yard. These type of days are very rare in winter so I’m going to take advantage of it. Most of the clouds have cleared away but the wind is quite strong making it feel cooler than it is. This is going to be a cook-out day for us.
Our 1 PM temperature is 46°F (8°C), the humidity is 62%, and winds are from the WSW at between 10 and 17 mph giving us a wind chill of 37°F (3°C). The dew point is 33°F (1°C). Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C). We rec’d just under an inch of snow yesterday which melted down to 0.09 in of precipitation. Average temps for this date are 28°F /14°F. Sunrise was at 7:50 AM and sunset will be at 5:50 PM.
