A Rainy, Cool Day In Mid Michigan

Today is starting out with light to moderate rain and temperatures much cooler than what we have had.  There was only 0.08″ in my rain gauge at 9 AM, but we have had heavier rain showers since then.  Northern Michigan received flooding rain amounts yesterday, mainly Traverse City, but we had just a few off and on sprinkles throughout the day.  We just can’t seem to get a break from this rain lately.  We are told that it is from the tropical storm over the Carolina’s which is stalling our current weather pattern.  I hope it moves on soon.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 58F (14C), the humidity is 95%, and winds are from the WNW at 5-13 mph.  The pressure is 29.76 in (1007.8 mb) and rising.  The dew point is 58F (14C) and visibility is 7 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 76F (25C) and the overnight low was 58F (14C).  Average temps for this date are 71F / 50F.
