Firecrackers, Fireworks Over For Another Year – Mid Michigan

After some overnight, much needed rain, our Tuesday is cloudy and very humid.  We received 0.42″ overnight with a little thunder and lightning.  Skies are expected to clear later and highs should make it into the mid 80s this afternoon.  The next few days are expected to be a bit cooler and that makes me happy.  All the big cities near us had their 4th of July fireworks last night, and most were covered by TV stations.  They were spectacular on TV so I can imagine what they would be like actually being there.  I guess I’ll never know, because there is no way that I would battle the crowds to find out.  Good for those who did though.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 74°F, our humidity is 88%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 2-8 mph, and the dew point is 73°F.  The pressure is 29.72 in and steady and visibility is 10 miles.  Sunrise was at 6:03 AM and sunset will be at 9:18 PM.  Yesterday’s high was 86°F and the overnight low was 68°F.  Average temps for this date are 82°F / 59°F.
