Lovely September Weather In Mid Michigan

This morning is absolutely lovely but I’m hearing that big changes will be coming next week.  This weather can certainly spoil you, but we know what’s ahead.  I’m seeing changes in the foliage  with a little more color every day.  Pictures being posted from northern Michigan are showing almost peak color in the UP already.  It will be a while for that to happen here.  A local meteorologist is saying that there will be more northern lights in the next few weeks and I wish we could see them here.  Northern Michigan has been seeing them often this summer but we aren’t so lucky.

Our 11:45 AM temperature is 75°F, the humidity is 66% and skies are mostly clear.  Winds are from the south at 2-7 mph and the dew point is 60°F.  Visibility is 11 miles.  The pressure is 30.01 in and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 74°F and the overnight low was 58F.  Average temps for this date are 73°F / 50°F.  Sunrise was at 7:19 AM and sunset will be at 7:45 PM.
