Cloudy, Cold, And A Trace Of Snow – Mid Michigan

Cloudy, Cold, And A Trace Of Snow – Mid Michigan

Yesterday was a typical early December day with overcast skies and cold temps.  We did receive a bit of snow early in the evening, which left a light covering of white, mainly on smooth surfaces.  Most of it was gone by morning with still just a trace remaining.  There is more snow in the forecast for tonight, but the heavy snow which is affecting areas to our south, is totally missing us.  Forecasters are saying that we have about a 50% chance of snow for Christmas.  I hope they are right.  We finally have the Christmas tree up and it seems to be a bigger job every year.  I’m glad that we have my son here to help.

Our 1:30 PM temperature is 35°F, the humidity is 81%, and skies are cloudy.  Winds are from the NE at 2-6 mph, and the dew point is 27°F.  The pressure is 30.05 in and falling.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 36°F and the overnight low was 31°F.  Average temps for this date are 36°F / 24°F.  Sunrise was at 7:58 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
