While the deep south is being hammered by tornadic storms, and the Midwest is plagued with blizzards, we, here in Michigan, continue to have cold but quiet weather. We had mostly clouds this morning, but the sky is clearing nicely as the day goes on. With very little wind, it’s quite pleasant outdoors. The rain that was in the forecast, has now been removed and it appears that we will have mostly dry conditions for the next few days. Yesterday was a typical early December day with overcast skies and cold temps. We did receive a bit of snow early in the evening, which left a light covering of white, mainly on smooth surfaces. Today isn’t half bad with cloudy skies, light winds, and mild temperatures. We did get a little rain yesterday, only 0.02″. We had some light fog this morning and it is still a little hazy. We have another dreary day, but the sun did peek out briefly this afternoon. We had a few sprinkles early this morning, but it left not much more than a trace of rain.
