More Dry, Hot Weather For Mid Michigan

There is still no mention of rain in our extended forecast, and everything is getting very dry.  The humidity and dew points continue to be very low and that doesn’t help.  This has been great weather for the farmers to get the planting done, but now they desperately need rain.  We seem to have a bubble over us preventing any of the precipitation in the west to come our way.  I haven’t planted any of my annual flowers yet and that’s something that I need to do soon.  This is Memorial Day weekend and that’s when I usually do it.

Our 11:45 AM temperature is 77°F (25°C), the humidity is 25%.  Skies are clear and winds are from the NE at 4-6 mph.  The pressure is 30.08 in (1018.6 mb) and falling, and visibility is 16 miles.  The UV Index is very high at 9.  Yesterday’s high was 80°F (27°C) and the overnight low was 45°F (7°C).  Average temps for this date are 73°F/51°F.  Sunrise was at 6:04 AM and sunset will be at 9:06 PM.
