Wind And Rain . . . . .

Wind And Rain . . . . .

Today is not nice, but we have some really nice weather on the way.  The biggest issue today is the wind.  We have gusts up to 40 mph and many here in our state are without power.  We’ve been lucky so far.  Winds should die down tonight, then the sun will return tomorrow.  This upcoming week should bring temperatures in the 70s, and with them may come thunderstorms.  In fact, one of the YouTube weather forecasters is warning that there may be some severe weather next week, including our area.  So far we’ve been very lucky but this is our peak severe storm season.

Our 5:45 PM temperature is 48°F, the humidity is 78%, and skies are overcast.  Winds are from the NW at  14-25 mph, gusting as high as 40 mph.  The pressure is 29.70 in and rising.  The dew point is 40°F and visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 51F and the overnight low was 44°F.  Average temps for this date are 56°F/34°F.  The record high for April 11 is 83°F set in 1977, and the record low is 11F set in 1868.  Sunrise was at 7:00 AM, and sunset will be at 8:16 PM.
