A Respite From The Heat . . . .

I hope that everyone is having a good holiday weekend.  The past two days have been stormy, which is not a good scenario for campers.  Most have been high winds but no tornadoes.  Highs have been in the upper 80s to lower 90s, with high humidity and dew points.  We finally have a break today although the humidity will still be high.

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 72°F, the humidity is 89%, and skies are overcast.  We have had light rain all morning which ended a few hours ago.  Winds are from the NE at 2-5 mph, and the pressure is 29.93 in and steady.  The dew point is 71°F and visibility is 9 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 86°F and the overnight low was 70°F.  Average temps for this date are 82°F/60°F.  Record temps for July 4 are 95°F (2020) and 46°F (2008).  Sunrise was at 6:04 AM and sunset will be at 9:18 PM.

DURAND / OWOSSO FORECAST:

This Afternoon:  Showers and a possible thunderstorm late.  Highs in the mid 70s.  Winds NE at 5-10 mph.  Chance of rain 50%.

Tonight:  Cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Lows in the lower 60s.  Winds NNE at 5-15 mph.  Chance of rain 50%.

Monday:  Mostly sunny.  Highs in the low 80s.  Winds NE at 10-15 mph.
