Snow Continues But Advisories Have Expired – Mid Michigan
Altogether, this storm left us with about 5 inches of snow cover. We were lucky and didn’t get much if any freezing rain like many other areas did. All advisories for my area have expired although we could still see some snow showers today. The big issue will be the winds with gusts up to 40 mph expected.
Our 9:15 AM temp is 24.3°F (-4°C), the humidity is 82% and winds are from the SW at 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. The dew point is 20°F (-7°C) and the wind chill is 11°F (-12°C). The pressure is 29.63 in (1003.4 mb) and rising. Visibility is 2 miles. Yesterday’s high was 35°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 22°F (-6°C). Averages for this date are 29°F / 16°F.
