We drove up yesterday with sun most of the way.  After reaching the campground, we decided to head into Cheboygan to get something to eat.  Then we went to the in-law’s cabins to visit for a while.   The sun was out this entire time.  On the way back to the campground, we noticed that everything was wet.  There had been a downpour while we were gone and all of our chairs and rugs were soaked.  There wasn’t even any rain in the forecast.  We have had these small cells of showers and thunderstorms moving from north to south over the past week and my son reported another 0.11″ at home.  I’m not hearing much about drought anymore but I know that many areas still need a lot more rain.  I don’t think ours is one.
