Thunderstorms began around midnight here, and they brought much needed rainfall. We were under a severe thunderstorm warning, and the rain brought some very strong winds when they arrived, but I don’t see any damage near us. This is our third consecutive day of 90 degree weather. At least the humidity and dew points are quite low. Temperatures today are perfect and the humidity is decent. This has been quite unusual for Michigan in the summer. Normally by this time, the humidity is very high almost everyday.
