Radar is showing a fragmented thunderstorm moving in my direction. In fact, it’s been on the radar for the past 3 hours but doesn’t seem to know where it want’s to go. There was a large red cell which seemed to be coming south from the Midland area, then it showed signs of diminishing. Mother’s Day was quite nice, but we lost our sun half way through the day. Radar showed some light showers over much of the state but the humidity and dew point was too low for any of it to reach the ground. This morning is sunny and highs should make it into the low 70s. Our day began with clear skies and moderate temperatures. Now, clouds have taken over but temperatures are quite warm. Winds aren’t too strong so it is a very pleasant day. We had light to moderate rain all day on Tuesday leaving us with 0.69 in total. Skies remained cloudy all morning and have become partly cloudy since then.
