Continued Hot And Dry in Mid Michigan

Our last rainfall was on June 28 when we received a little over half an inch of rain.  Since then, not a drop.  These extreme hot temperatures really exacerbate the dry conditions.  Today is again expected to reach 90° and no rain is in the forecast until Friday, and only a slight chance at that .  These past few days have been exceptional with clear skies, warm temperatures and low humidity.  The weather has been great for outdoor lovers but a little rain would be helpful.

Our 9 AM temperature is 73°F (23°C), the humidity is 58%, and skies are clear.  Winds are from the southwest at 6 mph, and the dew point is 58°F (14°C).  Visibility is 10 miles.  The pressure is 30.20 in and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 87°F (31°C) and the overnight low was 65°F (18°C).  Averages for this date are 81°F / 59°F.
